 Aloe Vera 

Derived from the sap of the aloe leaf. Healing,   soothing, anti-inflammatory

 Apricot oil 

Extracted from the apricot kernel. Softening, emollient, occlusive, nourishing, good for maturing and sensitive skin

 Avocado oil 

Generally obtained from the seed of a ripe avocado fruit. Contains vitamins A, C, D, E and K, rich and nourishing, good for maturing skin, helps with skin hydration, softening, regenerative

 Bentonite Beads

Bentonite clay in bead form used as an exfoliating particle. Easily dissolves away in water leaving no residual ‘grit’. Deep cleansing to the skin, drawing out skin pollutants

 Bergamot

An essential oil extracted from the rind of citrus fruits. Uplifting, refreshing, cleansing, antiseptic

 Birch

 Extracted from birch bark. Soothing, tonic, elasticizing, astringent, circulatory stimulant

 Black clay

A mineral. Revitalizing, oxygenating, nourishing.

 Blue clay

A mineral. Calming, soothing, regulates sebum production, dissolves impurities

 Borage oil

Extracted from the plants leaves and flowers. Softening, regulates skin hydration, regenerative, firming

 Boric Acid/Borax

Derived from natural Borax. Used to ‘Supercream’ and reduce alkalinity in cream soap

 Burdock

The dried root of the plant is used. Purifying, detoxifying, healing, reduces fluid retention

 Butter-up

Hydrogenated vegetable oil

 Calendula

An infusion obtained from the calendula blossom of this herbaceous plant. Healing, soothing, refreshing, anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, emollient

 Camellia oil

A carrier oil obtained through cold pressing the seeds of the fruit. It is non greasy and is rich in Vitamins A, B and E. Helps to combat ageing, skin rejuvenating and healing, restorative, soothing and contains anti-oxidant properties

 Carrot oil

Derived from the carrot. Rich in vitamins and minerals, antiseptic, smoothes and tones skin, anti-ageing properties

 Castor oil

A carrier oil obtained through cold pressing the seeds and/or beans of the Castor oil plant. Occludent, softening

 Cedarwood

An essential oil obtained from the bark of the cedar tree. Relaxing, regenerating, restorative, antiseptic, helps reduce fluid retention

 Chamomile

An essential oil or infusion that is obtained from the plants flower heads. Soothing, anti-inflammatory, refreshing, emollient, purifying, healing

 Cinnamon

An oil that is extracted from the plants leaves and bark. Warming to the mind and body, antiseptic, circulatory stimulant

 Clary sage

An essential oil obtained from the plants flowering tops. Anti-inflammatory, soothing, cell regenerative, sebostatic (helps to balance sebum production)

 Cocoa Butter

An occludent that is cold pressed from the cocoa bean. Helps to keep the skin hydrated by preventing moisture loss. Softening, protective

 Coconut oil

Expressed from coconut kernels. Emollient, occludent, soothing

 Coltsfoot

A plant of which the leaves and flower stems are used to obtain an infusion. Emollient, astringent, anti-inflammatory, capillary strengthener, soothing, healing

 Comedogenic

A substance that can cause the formation of blackheads.

 Comfrey

A wild plant of which the roots and leaves are used to obtain an infusion. Soothing, healing, regenerating, emollient

 Cucumber extract

Extracted from the fruit. Hydrating, soothing, anti-inflammatory, refreshing, tightening

 Cypress

An essential oil that is obtained from the leaves and twigs of the cypress tree. Balances hydration, vaso-constriction action helps with telangiectasia (spider veins), antiseptic, healing

 Dandelion

A powerful plant infusion that is obtained from the plants root. Diuretic, purifying, antioxidant, collagen strengthener, healing

 DHA

A safety approved self tanning agent that is used in self tanners to create a natural colour in the skin.

 Echinacea

A plant of which its wood and/or bark provide an infusion. Regenerative, healing, antiseptic, immune booster, anti-inflammatory

 Elder

Flowers, from which an infusion is obtained. Tones and protects with its emollient and astringent properties

 Emollient

A term used for a substance that has skin softening properties.

 Eurythrulose

Sugar found in red raspberries, used to colour skin in self-tanners by reacting with amino groups of keratin. Imparts a streak free tan

 Exfoliating Particles

A mild exfoliating particle formed from high-density polypropylene. It is formed to be less damaging to the skin whilst imparting an effective removal of dead skin cells

 Eyebright

A herb. An infusion is prepared from this plant after it has been cut just above the root.  Anti-inflammatory, astringent, tonic, helps reduce puffiness

 Fennel

An essential oil obtained from the seeds of the fennel plant. Stimulating to metabolic processes, detoxifying, tonic, warming.

 Floral Waters/Hydrosols

The waters of distillation created through the process of steam distillation of essential oils. Once the oil is removed, the remaining water contains the properties of the essential oil from the flower or herb from which it was created as well as hydrating qualities.

 Frangipani

An essential oil of which an extract is obtained from the frangipani flower. Uplifting, softening

 Frankincense

An essential oil that is obtained from the dry resin of the frankincense tree. Skin tonic, helps smooth wrinkles and fine lines, anti-inflammatory.

 Fucus Extract

A seaweed extract. Stimulates metabolic processes, hydrating, softening, elasticizing, aids detoxification, revitalizing, improves blood circulation in the skin.
